Qatar’s men’s padel national team claimed the bronze medal of the first Arab Padel Championship concluded in Dubai recently.
The five-day event has brought together 12 teams.
Team Qatar have secured the medal after defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 2-1.
In the first set, Mohammed Abdullah and Mohammed Al Khanji lost to the UAE with a score of 3-6, 6-4 and 4-6, while Mohammed Al Kuwari and Abdullah Al Hajji managed to win in the second set scoring 6-3 and 6-1.
Abdulaziz Al Kuwari and Jaber Al Mutawa sealed the victory for the Qatari team after scoring 6-3 and 6-1 in the third set.
Team Egypt were crowned champions of the 1st Arab Padel Championship after beating Kuwait 2-0 in the final match
