The third edition of the Qatar Padel Open Championship, organized by the Qatar Padel Federation, concluded after a week of competitions held at the Khalifa International Complex. The event saw the participation of over 150 players.

In the Men’s “A” level category, the duo of Javier Navarro and Nacho Otuño claimed first place, while brothers Rashid and Mishari Nawaf secured the runner-up position.

In the Men’s “B” level category, the duo of Jan Vajt and George Raventos won the title, with Hamad Nawaf and Abdullah Al-Fihani finishing in second place.

In the Men’s “C” level competition, the pair of Ibrahim Al-Najjar and Dawood Abdulkarim emerged victorious, while Mohammed Al-Fihani and Tarek Al-Alabi took the second spot.

For the Men’s “D” level category, the title was clinched by the duo of Sofyan Zia and Mohammed Atheer, with Omar Nasser and Mohammed Abu Taha finishing as runners-up.

The awards ceremony was presided over by Mr. Tareq Zainal, Secretary General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel, and Badminton Federation, in the presence of a number of padel enthusiasts.

On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, Mr. Tareq Zainal stated:
“I would like to congratulate the winners of the third edition of the Qatar Padel Open Championship for their outstanding performance and their success in showcasing a high level of competition. This championship represents an important step in the journey of developing the sport of padel in Qatar. It aligns with the vision of the Qatar Padel Federation to enhance the game’s prominence locally and internationally.”

He added that the federation is committed to organizing such tournaments to support Qatari players, contribute to the development of the sport, and promote its growth within Qatar.
