Italian duo Dominigaz Faquindo and Aris Patiniotis produced a solid performance to win the first edition of FIP RISE Qatar Tournament 2023, which took place at Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.
The Italian duo edged out their Egyptian counterparts George Wakeem and Hossam Yousef with two sets 6-1 and 6-2 in the final game.
The week long tournament brought together 14 teams to compete for the top honors in this inaugural event.
After the closing ceremony, the QTSBF Secretary General Tariq Zainal Said that FIP RISE Qatar Tournament is one of the new events on the federation’s agenda which provide padel players with opportunity to improve their world ranking.
